Severe Pain And Burning Sensation In Breast After A Muscle Pull. How To Treat This At Home?
Hi - I was walking the other day with my hubby. I tripped on a curb, landed on my hip pretty hard - enough for as a good bruise, and bruised my palm. I didnt hit my right breast on the pavement at all, but i felt something pull in there and the pain is bad and can almost take my breath away. It hurts when I cough. It hurt right away but it's been 3-4 days and the pain is worse. I have a mammogram scheduled previously for tomorrow. I talked them into doing a mammo on the left and a sonogram on the right. No way it is going in the mammogram thing tomorrow. So my question is: should i put ice or heat on it? ice seems to help. It does have a little burn feel to it. It feels like a muscle pull. But OUCH! how long will this last?
you have pain related to muscle caused by strain. Its better to use ice at the affected part with medication containing pain killers and muscle relaxants. And try to give rest to that muscle by not doing the related movement. It will take few days depending upon the extent of injury.
