Severe Pain During Periods. History Of Having Bartholin Gland Removed Followed By Intake Of Percocet. No Help From Ibuprofen. Help

I had bartholin gland removal out patient surgery there was scar tissue & it was in the root. I was in pain & they prescribed percocet for after. Its exactly a week later and I got my period today. I am in pain as though it was a few days ago. Called doctor & he is out on vacation. So covering doctor called in ibprofrin & I am still in pain. What should I do. Could heavy period cause the pain to be severe cause it was feeling a little better prior.

Hi, it appears that there might be infection,at the sight of the surgery. You may need to have antibiotics for controle of the infection, and analgesics and anti spasmodics for controle of pain.
So i advise you to consult a gynecologist for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
