Severe Pain In Right Shoulder, Neck. Relief From Deep Tissue Massages. On Anti Inflammatory Pills. Possible Pinched Nerve?

Hi my name is Donna. I have had serve pain in my right shoulder and neck. I went to a chiro last week which made it worse. I have had this pain for a week now and just woke up with it. Could it be a pinched nerve? I have had 2 deep tissue massages which were very painful but seemed to relieve the pain for a few hours. I have been taking anti inflame pills .

Hi,
If you are elderly then it is possible that there might be having some degenerative changes in your cerviacl spines giving rise to irritation and pressure on nerves causing pain in shoulder and neck.
Go for x-ray cervical spines.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined.
Go for physiotherapy, short way diathermy.
Take calcium, vitamin A and D supplements.
Ok and take care.
