I'm on anti biotics for four days and it's worse at night. What is going on and what do I do.. No one can seem to tell me what's going on and I can not get rid of the pain ???
your history suggests that you have got root canal treatment done.which is still incomplete.
please give me complete history, regarding your root canal.
your present pain is due to infected canal and infected pulp tissues there, causing pain.
It can be relived by pain killers temporarily, but you need to see your dentist soon ,so that infected pulp tissues can be thoroughly removed ,canal can be prepared and then obturated (filled) aseptically.
Meanwhile continue with your antibiotics and pain killers.
Hello and welcome to hcm,
From the details its not clear that how have you got the nerve removed from the tooth?
Was it a root canal treatment?
The pain is due to infected pulp remaining within the canals.
Please do visit a dentist to rule out the cause of disease.
Entire infected pulp has to be extirpated out and pus has to be drained.
Rinse your mouth after every meals.
Use soft-bristled toothbrush and clean your teeth involving all aspects of teeth.
Use Listerine mouthrinse to gargle.
Avoid stressful jobs for a while.
Hope this helps.
I understand that you are having pain post dental treatment. Did you undergo root canal procedure? Was the treatment completed? There are incidents of varying degrees of pain during and after root canal procedure.
If the pain is not subsiding take an OPG to check if the cause of pain is the same tooth or some other tooth.Go to dentist and check this immediately.

According to your clinical history i suspect that you have undergone a root canal treatment which is still incomplete, if pain present there could be a chance of some infected pulp tissue left in the canal.
It can be relieved with the help of antibiotics temporarily, i would encourage you to visit the Dentist and get the treatment completed , unless the canals are completely devitalised and sealed to the apex with the inert material you will face pain and infection.
Mainatin a good oral hygiene take antiseptic mouthwash rinses.

4 days are more than enough for the pain of the procedure to disappear...
If it does not - as in your case - a complication is likely...Residual infection / pus unable to drain, injury to the nerve are some of the possibilities...
The only option is to go back to your dentist / and have yourself examined again...
Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
