Severe Pain, Swelling And Redness On Thumb, Painful When Wet. Having Autoimmune Problems. Advice?

been having severe pain, swelling and redness on my left thumb on the left side of the nail for the last couple weeks, which as gotten worse pain whenever my thumb got wet.Today been cleaning a lot, now its turned white and looks like its peeling. Anyone got any ideas? I have a LOT of autoimmune problems, and my big toes have been doing this for several years now, getting painful when wet, but they never peeled.

Hai you have mentioned that you have autoimmune diseases but haven't mentioned what disease is ( eg. RA,Psoriasis)like that and u you might be suffering from any fungal infection and if you are diabetic your pain and swelling wont be reduced.So,please be clear in your question and for the infection you can use any anti-fungal cream which contains benzoic acid.
