Severe Pounding In Head, Neck And Increased Heart Rate With Shakiness In Body. Could This Be A Stroke?

I was in the shower when suddenly my head started pounding. When I got out of the shower i started to feel dizzy so I lay down on the floor. Then my heart started pounding really hard and I could feel my neck and head throb with its beat. It was beating so hard that my body actually shook back and forth with each beat. Then I noticed it was kind of hard to breath and my body felt really warm. Did I just have a stroke or something?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your symptoms indicate for any possible heart problem or hypertension attack precipitated by the warm bathing.

I strongly suggest to
- consult cardiologist as soon as possible or go to ER
- do ECG/cardiac Echo and other cardiac monitoring tests
- avoid too hot or too cold exposure
- measure blood glucose and lipid profile

Seek medical help as soon as possible!
