Hi im 20 years old. im afraid i may be pregnant can you help? i started my period 7 days early in sept. last mnth when my period tracjer said i was supposed to start i didnt. i had sex twice a week before and the day beforei was supposed to start .i started having a brown discharge then the next four days it was light red and pink but only when i whipped. I took 2 hpt and they were negative.Can i be pregnant or was my period jus really light? Also i started having lower back pain and pain in my stomach like i was goin to start and cloudy urine so i started takin azo. will this affect anything

The brown and light pink discharges are considered normal when seen either before an expected period or at the end of one.

It is also seen during hormonal imbalances caused by menopause, birth control, etc; and with infections. Could it be possible that you could have an infection? As you have symptoms of lower back pain as well.

Either way, pregnancy will have to be ruled out once again. This time, wait for another 5 days and conduct a home pregnancy test using an early morning urine sample. If it returns negative again, we will have to consider other conditions.
