hi i have been unactive sexually until recent,but now i have a bump on the shaft of my penis, which started out to look like a normal pimple with a white head.after a few days without treating it it has grew and is now fuly red and begans to itch.recently i have been having some burning pain on the tip of my penis also. is this a form of an std and how bad is it?

It occurs due to improper hygiene after sex,excessive perspiration with scratching. Apply local anti fungal,anti bacterial cream. Oral amoxy/clavulinic 625 with nsaid will give you cure. Avoid sex till get complete cure. Consult your physician for better medical management.
