Shadow Of The Bruise Persists Long After Being Hurt. Will His Eventually Go Away?

Hi-I fell down in December 2012 hitting my thigh against the corner of a hard plastic box. After the injury the skin raised and a deep bruise appeared. It's now July 2013 and while the bruise is gone there is still a shadow where the bruise once was and there is an indention in the location of the injury. There is no pain but the indention is noticeable. Will this eventually go away?

Hello,
Thanks for the query.

You can use a skin lightening cream like melalite xl.

This will give you relief.

Indentation may not heal with this,

A simple surgical correction might be required.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis and treatment.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.

you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link.
