Hi,

1. Fever occurring every 6 hours needs to be evaluated in small babies.
2. Your baby needs to be evaluated by the pediatrician at earliest to find out the exact cause and to be treated accordingly.
3. Fever every 6 hourly can be because of any kind of stomach infection, throat infection or urine infection. So for that you need to mention other symptoms along with fever to get on to the diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Infectious Diseases Specialist
