Sharp Pain In Left Leg, Burning Sensation In Fingers, Blood Vessel Broke. Taken Bayer Primalut Fro First Time. Suggestions?
Two days before my flight back home I've used 2 tablets of Bayer - Primalut Nor to decrease heavy period bleeding while I was on vacation. First morning after long flight back home (3 days later) I have experience 2 things:
1.sharp pain in my left leg deep inside felt like vain pain - gone in couple hours
2. on my fingers on hand one blood vessel broke - hot/burning sensation
Could this be related to this first tame use of this medication?

Primalut is a steroid a ethisterone. . These hormones are known to cause increase chances of deep venous thrombosis.. but on long term use.. I am not clear about what you mean by my blood vessel broke? But yes these peripheral sensation tinglingness can be some mild side effects of the hormone. If you continue to have pain in leg you better see a physician and get lower limb venous doppler to rule out thrombosis. And avoid using oral contraceptives if you keep getting these side effects.
