Sharp Shooting Pain In The Head. What Could This Be?
Hi there, I ve had this problem for a while now, where if i move too suddenly I get a sharp, shooting head pain that comes then goes within a second. I rode the bus today and there was a sudden dip in the road and I was slightly jostled as a result; i felt a sudden pain, that was sharp, at the top of my head. What could this be?
Based on your symptoms, you are not suffering from any serious neurological illness.
Transient pain with sudden head movements may be normal and you need not worry about it.
However, if the symptoms persist or occur without any provocation, it could be due to a neuralgic pain. Then, a consultation with a neurologist would be useful.
