Shin Injury, Bruising, Lump. Painful And Swollen. Any Idea?

I was playing football 3 weeks ago on sunday 15th and took a bang to the inside of my shin. It hurt really bad like a burny pain. Next couple of days i had bad bruising and a lump from were he had caught me. Two and a half weeks gone bruising had all gone and had a little lump still what was abit sore. Friday gone 27th i bandaged it up tight and played another football match. In this game i banged the same spot on another person. Wasnt as bad but it really hurt. Next day i had a little bruise and it is swollen up but feels like it has fliud in now because it sqaushy. Any idea what im best of doing

Hi, this is a very common injury in football players specially those who do not use shin guard. This is a clear case of soft tissue injury with injury to perosteum which wil be immensely painful but wil come down in due course of time with cold packs and anti-inflammatory medicines.
