Have had shortness of breath for over a year. Never smoked in my life, not even once. Feels like there is has been something in my chest/throat for over a year. No coughing or wheezing. Pulse ox is normal. Spirometry test are normal. Allergy tests normal. Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2008. Positive anti-DNA test in 05/2013. Level was 14 on a 0-9 scale. RNP and Smith ANtibodies were negative. Urine test for protein was negative. RBC was 5.42 on a 3.77-5.28 scale. Hemoglobin was 16.6 on a 11.1-15.9 scale. Hematocrit was 50.4 on a 34.0-46.6 scale. Ferritin was 20 on a 30-150 scale. My D.O. says he does not think I have Lupus even though my Anti DNA was positive, and I am having chronic joint pain and breathing issues. Have also had some sores in my mouth.
Also have chronic problems with acid reflux. I am scared about the perceived breathing difficulties that I have had for a year now. Two weeks ago, I also began experiencing a constant sharp pain on the right side of my chest as though someone was pinching me on the inside. No one seems to be figuring it out. I have seen two D.O.'s, and allergist, and an ENT. I have scheduled an endoscopy for Nov. 13th and also an appointment with a pulmonologist.
I have an appointment with an accunpuncturist/doctor of oriental medicine as well. I am suspecting a Candida overgrowth and leaky gut. The accunpuncturist/doctor of oriental medicine is also a specialist in leaky gut.
I have also seen a chiropractor. He used Contact Reflex Analysis Testing. I tested positive for Leaky Gut and also for Mercury Toxicity.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Andrea
