Hello,

Progesterone supplementation during early pregnancy is needed only when there is evidence of deficiency naturally. Unnecessary use of Progesterone can sometimes lead to miscarriage. If you are in doubt as to proceed with supplementation, please get your hormone status assessed and plan further management.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shanti Vennam, OBGYN
