Should DHS Surgery Be Done For Hip Fracture In Case Of Previous Stroke?

my father had a fall and fractured hip bone. Surgeon says it requires DHS, i.e dynamic hip screw. My father is diabetic and has had a brain stroke 6 months back. he is also taking medicnes for BP. My father is 91 years old. Is it advisable to go for this DHS surgery

Yes it is must to have Fracture fixed to reduce his pain and to make him sit on chair/bed. This also prevents bed sore.This may be done after having the assessment regarding fitness for surgery .
