Should Deanxit Be Taken For Hypertension Despite Being A Psychoactive Drug?
Dear Doctor..
I am 20 years old and I have been diagnosed having hypertension. The doctor asked for a KFT and an ultrasound of the kidney and everything turned out to be normal. He then prescribed for me Deanxit which is a psychoactive drug as you know. When I read how active it is, I got so scared. Do you advise me to take it.. he told me to go for it for 10 days one tablet per day...

As hypertension is not common at this age and if it is found then it might be due to some problem in the kidneys.
But as your KFT is normal so there is no reason having high blood pressure at this age.
So it might be due to some anxiety disease and so he prescribed this medicine.
Take it as advised by your doctor.
Go for regular blood pressure checking, once in the morning and once in the evening on alternate day.
After BP record and 10 days medicine he will have some idea about your problem.
Ok and take care.

if you have high blood pressure- there are recommended anti-hypertensives available
