Hello,

I can understand your concern. It seems that you have developed allergy in reaction to the insect bite.

I would advise you to start antihistamine such as Levocetrizine 5 mg (Levocet) or Loratidine 10 mg (Lorfast) once a day for about 5 days. This will help in subsiding the reaction.

However, if you do not find relief in 2 days, you should contact a dermatologist as steroidal treatment may be needed.

It seems that the headache has no relation with the insect bite and it is a co-incidence that you are suffering from it while suffering from the insect bite. I would advise you take Paraetamol 500 mg (Crocin) or Ibuprofen 400 mg (Brufen) to control the headache.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HCM. I wish you feel better soon.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
