Should I Be Concerned About Daily Flushing After Taking Amlodipine Besylate For Four Weeks?
I have been on Amlodipine Besylate 5 mg for four weeks. Upon the first day of taking this med that evening I started flushing. This has continued several times during the day but not at night. I saw my GP yesterday he said that is not a side effect. However, from reputable medical sites it says it is especially in women. I am a 67 year old female with no heart issues. Thank you.

Flushing isn't a side effect of Amlodipine. It might be because of some other reason only and not due to the Amlodipine tablet.
