Should I Be Concerned About Fluctuating Blood Pressure With Less Heart Rate?

I am a 71 ye
ar old active female. Recently my blood pressure has elevated, fluctuates from (top reading) 123/60 to 151 during the day, always higher when I arise in the morning. My concern is my heart rate for past 2 weeks, it stays between 55 and 65 bpm. Is this need to be concerned. Prior to this time, it stayed around 72 to 80 . My resting heart rate is 65 to 69.

Hi, I seems that you are having bradycardia. Bradycardia(slow heart rate <60beats/min)can be because of antihypertensive medications like beta blockers,Sick Sinus Syndrome or due to Thyriod Disorders. You need to arrange a appointment with your doctor ,who might change your medications and arrange to necessary investigations like ECG etc. Hope it helps.
