Should I Be Concerned About My Infant S Head Bump After Falling?
Hi, my infant who is 9 month old fell from bed in the tiles floor. He was sleepy and fell instantly and there is a bump on his head which has gotten black too. After the fall, he continued crying but in few minutes we distracted him and he was active like before. We did ice swelling but the bump is not getting better. However there are not other alarming symptoms other than swelling. Please guide what should be done! He has fallen asleep now after 1 hour of injury since it’s his sleep time.

As long as there was no loss of consciousness after the injury, he is safe. The bump will look nasty for a few days but it will ultimately resolve on it's own. No reason to be worried.
