Should I Be Concerned About My Stomach Rumbling Soon After Taking The Medicine, Lisinopril, For Hypertension?
I was prescribed Lisinopril about 10 days ago because my BP was higher than normal. I am 70 years old & otherwise pretty healthy. My PCP wants me to take it for a month, then return for a checkup. About 5 days into taking Lisinopril, I had a little diarrhea...wasn't sure if it was a "bug" or not...it only lasted a day. However, since that day, and after my normal breakfast, and after I take my BP med, I noticed that I have a lot of stomach rumbling. It continues for about a half hour.....I know it's probably not serious, but it bothers me. Is this something I should be concerned about, or should I contact my Dr. about it?

Hi. Definitely you should contact your Doctor as there is a direct relation of taking medicines to the rumbling of stomach. Please stop the medicines and try to visit your Doc immediately as would change to another one.
