Painful period is known as dysmenorrhea. Beside I-pill side effects, some other underlying cause could be endometriosis, fibroid, adenomyosis, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease etc. I suggest you to undergo one pelvic ultrasound scan and other necessary tests to confirm the diagnosis. Kindly, consult with your doctor regarding this and take proper treatment. You may take DROTIN-DS for period cramp, avoid tea/ coffee/ salt in 2nd half of cycle, control body weight, avoid stress.
