Should I Be Concerned About Recurring Drainage Of Saliva Into The Wrong Pipe Followed By Cough And Chest Discomfort?
Hello So recently, I have had my saliva "go down the wrong pipe" many times, even when I am just sitting or standing still. I then cough for a few minutes and feel discomfort in my chest. I was wondering why I am having this problem and if I should be concerned.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe it may not be going to the wrong pipe, the trachea. If it happen so you will get a violent cough, and you have to rush to the emergency. Any how there might be some inflammation of the pharyngeal mucosa. I advise you to consult an E.N.T.surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. Wishing for a quick and compete recovery. Thank you.
