Should I Be Concerned About Stomach Ache And Vaginal Spotting After Unprotected Intercourse?

hi. i am wondering if i should make an appointment to see a physician. I had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago and about 9 days later started having some spotting and brownish pink spotting that lasted for about 3 days, then nothing for a couple days. yesterday i had some light bleeding but it was barely nothing and then it stopped. today I had very heavy clots early in the morning and afternoon and now nothing. I have had bad stomach pains and very sore breasts with a headache nausea and fever. should I be concerned?

Hello,

You can go for a urine pregnancy test to check whether you are pregnant or not.

Most probably it will be a non-specific spotting and will settle by itself.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
