Should I Be Concerned About Sudden Shivering For An Hour Along With 3 Bowel Movements?

So last night I was lying in bed watching TV and all of a sudden I started shivering all over and it lasted about an hour. I called the advice nurse through Kaiser and she asked a lot of questions and they were all no so she asked the doctor and she said I could be getting a fever which I didn't. During the time of shivering I have 3 bowel movements. What do you think it could be and should I be concerned.

Hi. This is a classical finding in many patients with an intestinal infection- only shivering and loose motions. Yes, you should be concerned and need to see a Doctor as you may need a proper antibiotic for intestinal infection ( needing a prescription).
