Should I Be Concerned About The High Immature Granulocytes And Low Anion Gap In My Pre-op Bloodwork Before My ACDF Surgery?
I am having acdf surgery on Jan 6 for cervical stenosis (C4-C7) and had a pre op the other day...all was well in my bloodwork except for immature granulocytes at 1.3%, absolute immature granulocytes at 0.10 (high supposedly) and an anion gap of 4. Everything else looked good. They sent me for a flow cytometry test and waiting for the results. I am scared thar they re going to tell me it is cancer. Should I be concerned that this is the case?
