Should I Be Concerned About The Sore, Bluish Black Bumps In Palm Following A Elbow Surgery For Pinched Nerve?
I had surgury on my elbow last week to move a pinched nerve that was causing numbness in my pinkie, ring finger and forearm. After surgury my hand was extremely swollen. You could not see any wrist or knuckle bones. The sewlling is better, however, now I have two small blue/black bumps under the skin in the palm. When pressed they are tender. Should I be concerned?
The black and blue areas that you are seeing may be very small blood vessels that may have ruptured during the course of the procedure . If this is the case, they would normally heal on their own.
It may take a few days for this to occur. It would be best to avoid pressing the area.
I hope this helps
