Should I Be Concerned As I Passed A Clot That Looked Black?

Just had my son is almost 3 months old I got the Nexplanon put in my arm I just started my period a few days ago I went to the bathroom on my 3rd day of my period & I passed a clot that looked black maybe dark red almost black I felt the texture it was thick & wouldn't pull apart & I pulled on it, it was tough like a thick rubber band what is going on with that? Is it normal? should I be concerned?
