Should I Be Concerned For The Tiredness And Hair Shedding Having Hyperthyroid ?

hello i was just dx with hyperthyroid i hade last done thyyrotropin sensitive 0n 10/30 0.365 and on 11/13 0.069 and i had an ultrsound that showed i have mildly hypervascular thyroid and that i have a well circumscribe hypoechoic focus at lateral aspect of lower pole on right lobe but the nodule is to small for FNA, IM ALWAYS TIRED AND MY HAIR IS SHEDDING MY BEIGGEST CONCERN IS ME BEING TIRED AND MY FIRST APPT WITH ENDO IS NEXT WEEK AND IM NOT ON MEDICATION ,SHOULD I BE CONCERNED

Hi. I have read through your query. You haven't written the units of your tests reports and have not mentioned which hormone level are these as well (T3,T4,TSH). Tiredness and low energy and loss of hair are associated with HYPOTHYROIDISM not Hyperthyroidism. Though these symptoms and this disease is not so serious but in the long run it can cause hypertension and heart diseases at the least. So, when you go to your Endocrinologist do take all these reports with you and he might advise you another test called RADIO-NUCLIDE THYROID SCAN to check whether the nodule is cold or warm.
