Should I Be Concerned Out My Son's Bottom Rib That Tends To Poke Out?

Hi Dr. Grief. My 6 month old son's bottom rib on his left side tends to poke out periodicaly. I inquired about this to our pediatrician,and she said there was no reason for alarm. It doesn't seem to bother HIM at all,but it bothers the heck out of me. Is this something to be concerned about?

what you are thinking as bottom rib is nothing but the xiphoid bone of the sternum.
It is prominent in some children.
It is quite normal and no need for concern.
