Should I Be Worried About A Small Red Lump On My Left Palatopharyngeal Arch?
Hi, I m really worried about a small red lump on my left palatopharyngeal arch, I have a 12mm cyst T1 hyperintense as well in the neck showed on a MRI exam, but my ent doctor at the time said it was everything ok. I ve done ultrasound on the neck, nothing bad accused, but I always feel some kind of discomfort on that side of my throat, for about 1 year now, I don t know really know what to think.
Usually, this is an inflamed, isolated lymphoid tissue in the throat or a benign retention cyst or branchial remnant in the neck but seeing pictures, and images is helpful if direct examination is not possible. It does not seem to be a cause for worry. A detailed routine examination will help sort this out.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
