Should I Be Worried About Swelling Around The Ear While Suffering From An Ear Infection?

I have a pretty serve ear infection. Already went to the doctors and got antibiotics. I forgot to ask the doctor that my jaw is misaligned so I can't chew food because of the swelling around my ear. Do I need to be worried about or will it return to normal?

Hi,

It can be due to inflammatory reaction secondary to infection. Continue antibiotics and you can also take anti inflammatory drugs like seratiopeptidase also. If symptoms persist, you can consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated. Wishing you good health.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
