Should I Be Worried For Kid Having Small Lump Above Belly Button After Hernia Repair?

My 20 month old so has a small lump about 3 fingers above his belly button. It seems to disappear and can be pushed in. It s maybe the size if a dime. He recently had surgery to fix a herina along the groin. Is this something I should be worried about?

hi there this is a umbilical hernia seen in some children. usually the muscles in the belly are lax causing a small hernia to come out. usually it should disappear as the child starts walking. but if it persists or is bothering you go back to the doctor who fixed his hernia where they will also fix this
