Should I Be Worried For Kid Suffering From Diarrhea, Reddish And Swollen Bum?
My 5 month old has has diarrhea for 4 days now. It's like squirty, yellow, stringy, super smell poop. When should I be worried? He's pooping every hour...but he's still eating like normal. His bum is super red and swolled from all the pooping. I don't know what to do and it's too late to call my pediatrician.

Hi, thanks for using HCM.
From history as you have mentioned red pooping near anus indicated rectal prolapse. need to maintain good hygiene. Consult doctor as early as possible. Keep feeding your baby continuously, Try to maintain hydration, you can monitor hydration by urine out put.
Air drying,Frequent diaper changes helps you reduce erosion around anus.
Hope this helps you.
Regards
