Should I Consult A Doctor For Tightness In Throat Which Needs Effort To Swallow?
I took a "moderate" impact to the throat (right on the Trachea). For about an hour it hurt and felt odd (tight) to swallow, then it went away. About a day later I moved my neck to look under something. I heard a click in my neck and now it feels a bit sore when I swallow again. At no point has my voice or breathing been affected (I can even sing with no pain/soreness). Swallowing food is fine, it just feels oddly tight (like the act of swallowing is unnatural and takes more effort.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears that it has created a scratch on the throat, in the which is showing the irritation in some deeds. Avoid taking cool things like ice water, ice cream, fruits and juices. I advise you to consult an E.N.T.surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, phenylephrine , and paracetamol, and levocitrizine. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
