Should I Consult An Endocrinologist For Weird Behavior In A Child Who Is Suffering From Hypothyroidism?

My daughter is 21 months and has hypothyroidism diagnosed at 3 weeks old and never had any developmental problems. I recently noticed she has been pulling out her hair when tired/ going to sleep. Should I see her GP or endocrinologist about this behavior

Hi,

Yes for sure, and better to see a psychiatrist as well, to see if this related to hormonal imbalance or stress.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
