Should I Consult My Doctor For Appetite Loss, Insomnia And Headache While On Atorvastatin?
I have been on 20mg. Atorvastain for several years. i am 77 and have been experiencing loss of appetite, sleepless and occasional muscle tiredness plus occasional headache. While I am 77 I have been very active but find I need to take a couple weeks f naps everyday. I read the book the lipitor effect. Wondering if I should go discuss this with my doctor.

Atorvastatin can cause headache; insomnia but unlikley to cause such symptoms after years of use. You can try reducing the dosage and maintain the dose.
