Should I Consult The Doctor For The Child Having Abdominal Pain During After Periods?

My 10 year old daughter started her period at age 9. She has horrible stomach aches at before during and after her period. I feel concerned that something else is going on. I don't feel like she should still be experiencing lower abdominal pain even after her period has ended. Do you feel she needs to be seen by a doctor?

Greetings of the day

There is no cause of concern if
1. There are no Urinary complaints like buring micturation, increased frequency
2. Absence of fever
3. No Vaginal discharge which is foul smelling.

In the absence of above its likely to be pre-menstrual syndrome and adequate rest will take care of it.

In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life

Take Care
