Should I Continue Taking Celebrex And Tranexamic Incase Of Breathing Difficulty And Numbness In The Legs?

Hi, I m a 24 year old woman suffering from menstrual pain for the last 10 years that became worse gradually. Recently I went to get checked and found out that I have fibroids. I went to a gynaecologist and was prescribed celebrex & tranexamic acid. As soon as I took them, instead of relieving my pain, it became so unbearable that it was almost hard to breathe, & my left leg felt numb. Should I continue taking them or not?

Hi,

If this is the lower abdominal pain for 10 years, it may not be due to menses neither it can be due to fibroid lesion. You can of course continue the medicine, but the underlying cause of pain need to be found out, any pathological pain if not treated in time may turn into an emergency.
Functional kind of pain needs to be ruled out or it can be dysmenorrhea which is pretty common.

Hope I have answered your query.
