Should I Continue To Use Econaderm For Fungal Infection On The Fingers?

Hi, I have a fungal infection on my finger nails from acrylics I have had it since January and got econaderm in March. I have not been using it consistently however the fungus has spread from one side of my finger to both sides. Should I consult another doctor for a different treatment type or should I continue using this?

Hello,

Take care of your hygiene. Protect the area affected from moisture. You are advised to start taking oral anti fungal infections. Avoid wearing artificial nails and control your blood glucoses level if diabetic. You can apply creams containing fluconazole or terbinafine, Take oral anti-fungal medicines. It should show improvement in 4-5 days. In case, there is no improvement then you should get clinically examined by a Dermatologist. You may be suffering from some other infection also.
