Should I Continue Using Androgel As It Causes Frequent Urination?
i have low T, I am on Androgel for some month now, but now i have to use the bathroom almost every 2 hours to urinate. my Urogist put me on flomax to shrink my PROSTATE. Should i continue using the ANDROGEL, I think is the Androgel is causing inlarge prostrate help me please. clyde.
Hello Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have been taking Androgel for low Testosterone levels and now getting obstructive voiding symptoms .
This is most likely to be due to enlarged prostate which could be already there and aggravated due to taking testosterone which causes increase in size of prostate .
Please discontinue taking Androgel and observe for any improvement in your symptoms . Continue taking Flomax as advised by your family Physician. Dr.Patil.
