Should I Discontinue Taking Clingen Forte Till My Period Is Over?

Hi, i have started taking clingen forte 5days back and today is the 1st day of my period. Shoud i continue using the medication while on periods or should I discontinue till my period is over? If I need to discontinue, do i have to take the whole 7 days medication once again?

Hello,

Clingen Forte should ideally be inserted in the vagina for 7 consecutive nights for the best effect. Since you are having periods, you should not insert it in the vagina. Wait for your periods to get over then you can insert the remaining capsules.

If the infection goes away, you need not require inserting vaginal capsules. In case the infection persists, you may repeat the course of inserting Clingen forte. Take care of your hygiene. Stay away from any sexual activity and sex toys while you are being treated.
