Should I Do Any Test For Frequent Urination And Burning Sensation At The Vagina During Urination?
Hi, For the last 6 days I am suffering from frequent urination (every half an hour). Before that for the last 8 months I was facing the problem of burning sensation in the vagina during urination. The burning sensation thing is not now but this frequent urination has started from the last 6 days. I always drink more than 5-6 litres of water daily. I am taking the medicines of the doctors Albertnor tz (Norfloxin and Tinidazole tablet) as well as alkapen syrup for the last 4 days but condition has not improved much. What to do . Please recommend. Do I need to do any test?
Burning sensation at the vagina commonly occurs due to irritation from condoms, douches, sprays, friction, allergy or inadequate lubrication during sexual intercourse can cause long-term burning sensation. You are suggested to avoid sexual intercourse or any sexual activity for a couple of days while you are being treated. Do not douche or use sex toys. It can cause abrasion, cuts or trauma to the vagina thus causing burning sensation. Medical conditions like yeast infection, BV, STD also cause such symptoms.
Frequent urination is commonly due to medical conditions like interstitial cystitis, UTI, overactive bladder, bladder stone, etc. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP / gynecologist, get tests and investigations done so that the pathology can be detected, and treatment started at the earliest. Avoid using public washrooms, take care of your hygiene.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
