Should I Go To The Doctor For Red Rashes On The Legs After Taking A Rocephin Shot?
On August 14 had a rocephin x1 injection for UT Tracy infection Tonight I notice on both feet and lower limbs of both legs a red skin rash has appeared maybe two hours ago Since this is the weekend should I head to Dr and have the rash checked Have lower back pain but was already having lower back pain before injection
Sorry to hear that you're getting a rash after taking a Rocephin shot. This is likely due to a reaction to the Rocephin, but since you only took one injection (as long as you are not taking another antibiotic currently), as long as the rash is not painful or getting worse, and you are not having any other symptoms (such as fever), you should be fine.
But I would let your doctor know about the rash so he/she can put it in your chart, and avoid using this and similar medications in the future if possible.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
