Should I Make An Appointment With A Dietician?

Should I make an appointment with a dietician? I have chronic pancreatitis. I have had two pancreatic surgeries for cyst removal. I now have diabetes 2., heart failure, and last summer I had surgery for bleeding ulcers I am now displaying most symptoms of epi . I'm at a lose in terms of diet ant recommendations . I plan to also meet with my gi doctor. I'm currently taking metformin 2times daily, insulin, pancreatic enzymes, pro tonic and a host of other medications

Yes indeed you need to make an appointment with the dietitian because.
1. Diet forms the vital part of treatment for diabetes
2. you are already taking metformin two times a day,so dietary modification is very important

since you had surgery for bleeding ulcers there are several foods like spicy foods, which needs to be completly avoided and needs to be substituted
