Should I See A Doctor As Not Able To Tense The Muscle At All?

I was trying to do the front splits when my leg slipped and I went all the way down without stretching...during the fall my hip/quad/hamstring popped several times. This was 4 days ago and I am still in pain, swollen, no bruising, but am not able to tense the muscle at all! Is this something I should see a dr about??

Hello,

It could be a muscle spasm.

If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
