Should I See A Doctor For Blurred Vision And Photophobia While On Amoxicillin?
I am a 72 year old woman taking 500 mg of Amoxicillin Am & PM for a UTI (test showed strep B bacteria). I had taken only 2 doses and now a third one, and have blurred vision and bad light sensitivity. Do I need to see an eye doctor tomorrow? Am I in danger? I have not taken amoxicillin for at least 3 years before this. What to do now??

Probably Amoxicillin won't cause eye damage unless you developed drug induced aseptic meningitis with raised ICT with papilledema. Yes you have to consult your doctor immediately he will examine and treat you accordingly.
