Should I See A Doctor For Redness In The Eyes After Exposure To Smoke?
I have one red eye, but not the thick mucus. we are in the middle of 2 large (thousands of acres) fires in southern Oregon, with air quality in the red danger zone. I live alone and have seen no one for over 7 days. I wear a mask and dark sunglasses to get my mail and paper. so it looks like pink eye, but its just one eye. can it be that I should wear goggles when I go outside, or should I see my doctor?
If only one eye is affected and another eye is yet not affected then it is not infectious. So pink eye is ruled out so it can be a foreign body so get your eye examined by an eye doctor.
Vision should be recorded. You can wear a dark glass when you go out.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
