Should I Switch From Deriphyllin To Deriphyllin Retard Or Asthalin Due To Severe Cough And Wheezing After Starting Ciprofloxacin And Syrup?

Kindly advice iam taking deriphyllin for pasr 6 month. Yesterday I take ciproflaxin and some syrup given by doctor.. from yesterday itself iam suffering cough severe also wheezing. Kindly advice instead of deriphyllin shall I take deriphyllin retard or asthalin

Hello,

Consult with the treating doctor. You may need to take an antibiotic that suits you better. The side effects of Asthalin are hoarseness, cough. respiratory tract inflammation. In my opinion you should stick to taking Deriphyllin since it suits you better. In case you have trouble breathing you can switch to Deriphyllin Retard as it is higher in power. It will work faster.

Try to stay away from crowded and polluted places. Prefer to stay more in areas which have a higher oxygen concentration. Places full of trees and natural outdoor locations.
